Subject:

Making BPD experiences tangible

Target audience:

Doctors, therapists, care workers, family members of people afflicted with BPD as well as those afflicted themselves who want to know what life with BPD is like for those involved.

Content:

Twenty people, directly or indirectly affected by BPD, wrote about their experiences and their feelings towards themselves as well as towards others. Their accounts provide hope and insight for those afflicted and their family members, for therapists and care workers - insights into what it means having to live with BPD, as a basis for a mutual understanding and sympathy for those involved.

The accounts show that it's possible to overcome many of the hardships that accompany BPD. They enable those afflicted with BPD to develop a new attitude towards themselves, and to show more concern for their families and friends.
